Account deletion Concerns

I was listening to the latest Office Hours and Ally said that people do accidentally delete their accounts and that once that happens then they can’t be recovered.

Just from the perspective of at least safeguarding against misuse by 3rd parties maybe it might be worth considering the following: -

1. A 48-72 hour window between the request and the actual implementation (the account could do hidden in the interim).

2. A Second are you sure?

3. An email confirmation request.

4. Optional 2FA on accounts.
