It would be nice to have the option to filter out images I have already reacted to and/or seen in the Image Feed. When trying to collect buzz I am finding it tedious. I have a few options available as of now. Scroll down more and more every time to get to images I haven’t seen. That causes my browser to slow considerably as the tab loads more and more content. Alternative 1: Sort by Newest, which results in tons and tons of really bad generations and generations that make it passed my filters that I really don’t want to see. Alternative 2: Sort by any other means, which is better for image quality and content but still results in more scrolling each time. Alternative 3: Go directly to the profile of creators I have seen make good images. More clicking, more scrolling, more loading, etc.
If I could filter out images I’ve already seen then it would simplify it a lot! It would also be useful for limiting content loading that I wouldn’t be interested in seeing again if I have a specific task in mind, like finding something new to remix or learn from. It’s only been two daily buzz cycles for me so far but I can see this is likely going to be annoying for me.
Another alternative could be to reward more buzz for image reactions so I wouldn’t have to look for so long to find something to react to. As it is now I’m thinking I might just blindly react to everything I see to get that part over with. I don’t think considering that option is unique to me and obviously presents a problem for image ranking. If I’m not alone in this I imagine ranking is determined more by the time an image was uploaded than its quality.
Mostly this is a quality of life issue.
