Novel Idea For Image Posts w/ Generation Data

Had a random idea for image posts that contain generation data: How about the ability to post your own images made with the same generation data as a reply? Images would also be posts in their own right, but when you use someone's exact generation data, you'd be able to link to the original image, so that people can see your image(s) as well, by clicking on an icon in the bottom right of the original (or something). The only technical hurdle would how to tell if the secondary images are really from the same gen data, but I think the EXIF data may already have a hash or something (I didn't research). If not, you could just make it a feature only available to those using the extension for Auto11. Anyways, thought this might be a cool way to encourage collaborative work on the site.
