Post tag searchability

I just noticed that when searching for images it does not appear to take into account the tags I manually add to the entire post. For instance I do a lot of sequence work and have been tagging my posts ‘sequence’ or ‘transformation.’ In the individual images this is not apparent and does not get auto tagged. I tried looking for my own images and basically nothing I’ve posted in months shows up under those terms.

I could manually add those tags to each individual image I guess, but that doesn’t make sense. What’s the point of being able to tag posts if they don’t show up in searches?
