It seems that some users abuse the reaction system to bump themselves in the ranks and/or improve discoverability of their content by simply using all available reactions, regardless of what "reaction" the image produces. Additionally, doing so from multiple accounts. While discoverability is an interesting topic by itself and deserves separate attention, can there be something done to make obvious abuse like this less easy to do?

Not trying to bash any particular individual, so i blurred the name/pics. But to me this seems like a mindless abuse of the reaction system from multiple accounts to promote own content.
While I guess not much can be done against multiple accounts sadly, the reactions themselves could be tweaked to retain their meaning at least. Two ideas come to mind:
allow only a single reaction per image, that would reflect the reaction the user has to it. ("+1" and "heart" seem redundant to me, but that's another topic).
consider only the highest count reaction in the ranks. E.g. if image has 10,3,2,0 respectively, count only the 10.
This would help the reactions to retain their meaning and perhaps demotivate or make harder abuse from multiple accounts. Abuser would have to create 20 accounts instead of 5 to fake the same amount of reactions.
Hopefully this would make it more fair for users who post great content and still would like to be discovered without fake reaction pics dominating daily top.
