Rewards for submitting images is great and everything but it feels like some are beginning to abuse the system. I often browse new images to see what new styles, checkpoints, or LORAs people might be using and it's annoyingly common to see as many as 12 images in a row that are essentially the same thing. It doesn't seem like any cherry picking was done to pick the best from a batch so I'm feeling like they're trying to "mine" for Buzz.
Blocking image spammers like that is easy enough but to reduce load and costs to the site I feel like it would be best to tweak the rules for getting Buzz from posting. Maybe some caveats like:
For a given calendar day users shall receive Buzz for the first four images regardless of their uniqueness
Subsequent images posted on the same calendar day must be "sufficiently unique" to receive Buzz
"Sufficiently unique" is defined as having a prompt that is less than 75% similar to previously posted images
Remixing the image of another user will receive Buzz only if it is within your first four posts of the day OR if the prompt is altered to be "sufficiently unique"
There are probably better rules to set and I'm sure some will still game the system by recycling prompts on different days or tweaking things to be just barely different enough to qualify but I think that would still help with the goal of reducing repetition and staleness while scrolling through generations.
