Update article without sending notifications

It would be great to be able to edit an article, without shooting out a blast to everyone that has bookmarked the article that it has been updated.

If I just want to fix a typo or make a small edit, I don't want to do it right now, as I know it will annoy everyone that has "bookmarked" it. And I know how annoying it is to go to your notification and find 10 notifications of the same article. I just need one :)

But anyway, it would be good to be able to make an update without sending a notification.

Just like when you make a small adjustment to a meeting invite on Google Calendar. It asks you if you actually want to send out an email to everyone with your new change or not.
